I wrote this very spontaneous poem in a moment of inspiration today. If you are reading this, I want you to know and remember what I’ve said below.

You skin – so unique.
Your hair – so unique.
Your fingerprints – so unique.
Your personality – so unique.
Your life story – so unique.
No word, no look, no judgement can change what you are–

'how rare you are' handwritten on skin colour background with flowers

Created for my project The Pigment Nation where I create conversation and express thoughts on discrimination against skin colour.
