Life Of A Rescue Puppy

Yesterday was another outing (1.5 hours and 25 km one way) to @kovai_veterinary_clinic . Stryper had to get his Anti-Rabies vaccine and Schatzi had a consult for skin issues. Poor child had to have a skin scrape, but she was a brave cookie! The trip is always worth it because because of the quality care we get and the chance for Schatzi to meet her best friend - Doctor Junaith.

Despite their differences, it’s amazing how dogs are pack animals and come together to defend their territory. This goes beyond breed, size and gender.

Taking a minute to think about and pray for all the animals outdoors in this heat wave! 🥵.
Also acknowledging the relief we feel knowing our fur babies are safe and indoors. Can’t imagine them out there struggling to survive!
Also here to point (invade you missed 😝 Schatzi’s eye roll as she falls asleep. It’s something she has done from childhood and we find it adorable.

Stryper got a new bed this week! After some initial apprehension, he seems to be loving it! 😘😘
